DCBeagle Year 4 Challenge
This mathematics challenge is a mixture of cerebral exercise and some physical activity but most of all the aim is for the young mathematicians to enjoy the challenges.
MENTAL WARM UP – DICEY, DICEY
The young mathematicians are asked to find the total of sets of numbers which flash up on the screen, other activities can be looking at sequencing, finding the odd one out, answering questions on shape.

ROUND ROBIN ACTIVITIES
These are 8 minute rounds where questions on a certain topic have to be answered. Examples of topics which could be included are:

Lateral thinking questions will be given with a choice of four answers. The young mathematicians have to solve the problems and display their winning letters to find out whether they are right or wrong.
